I wasn’t aware that Design 3D handled .ai and pdf files so well for masks. You mentioned that for very high resolution renders you’d have to create bitmapped images in Photoshop. Do you have a rule of thumb fro when to create the 1 bit Photoshop mask?
Where is the video for this tutorial?
I just checked and the videos show up and play for me. Are you using an older version of Safari? There was a problem with earlier versions of Safari that made it not always play Vimeo videos. You can also try using Firefox or Chrome.
