Model a simple triangular object with a hole: Method 4, part 2 (CX)

This is the second part of the fourth approach to modeling a simple triangular object with a circular hole. This is a somewhat more advanced approach and walks through the process of modeling the subdivision surface object with rounded corners.

Model a simple triangular object with a hole, for beginners: Method 3 (CX)

This third tutorial models a simple triangular object with a circular hole, but this time using subdivision surfaces. It shows how to properly configure the 'control cage' to produce the subdivision object. It also shows how to maintain hard corners by using the Toggle Hardness function.

Can Metallic Ink, Part 1: Modeling the product container using two different approaches

This tutorial models a can type object, using two different approaches, in preparation for a tutorial on adding a metallic effect to a product label. The geometry is set up using a lathe (from several bezier curves) and then converts it to a polygon mesh which can then be UV mapped. It discusses some technical issues dealing with the surface shading. The second part models the object as a subdivision surface object. Finally, a UV map is generated using a cylindrical map as a starting point.
