This fundamentals video helps to explain the nature of polygon sidedness. Note: Design 3D CX interface is shown but the operations are the same for SE.

I was wondering if you’ve created the more advanced tutorial of this two color two sidedness that you mentioned in this tutorial. I’ve created a Point of Sale carton for energy shots and when I wrap my UV texture onto the carton it shows through. I want it to look as if its printed on one side and white on the inside. The kicker is I want to bring it into Live 3D so I want to keep the polygon count down. If you have created this advanced tutorial which one is it.
Thanks
Actually I have developed some material for this but haven’t had a chance to record it yet. I’ll try and do so in the next day or so.
Thanks, No big hurry. I’ve put it on the back burner.
Ummmm, quick question… I created the 2D rectangle, converted it to the One Sided polygon, and when I turned it around, I could still see the other side? How does that work?
Sorry, never mind!
I was wondering if you were going to expand on the two color two sidedness that you mentioned before. I was wanting to take the project I was working on so long ago off the back burner.
Another great one Chris. And thanks again for the earlier tip. As much as I want to “get modellin”, your suggestion of started at the beginning is paying off. These features of Strata are fascinating.
Merci Christopher
